Y’all it’s so good. I thought the lemon balm might overpower the birch but they are really well balanced.
One funny thing about making it is you strip the leaves off the stems of both lemon balm and birch, but with the lemon balm you only keep the leaves and with the birch you only keep the stems.

the key principle: distance itself can be used to encode information. by determining the correct starting [x,y] coordinate for each glider, any future state of the Life universe can be created, with effectively unbounded complexity. 🤯

Toddlers seem to have an innate grasp of Boolean logic that must get lost somewhere along the way to adulthood. When asked if he wanted to get out of the tub himself or for me to lift him out, ours responded “no”.
