Is there a way to bypass it when your instance blocks one of your friends and view them through your instance, rather than having to keep subscribing to multiple instances? I'm about ready to just switch to plain vanilla mastodon so I don't have to keep constantly going through this bullshit over every petty squabble when an admin has an over-active block finger.
@KevinCarson1 Yeah, this is super annoying. I don't want admins deciding who I should and shouldn't be able to see in my feed.
@gabrielbauman'm totally cool with blocking outright fascists, racists, MRAs and TERFs, but this is ridiculous. There were already journalists I wanted to follow on masthead like Popehat, and now I found one of my closest friends on witches.live was blocked. This is bullshit.
