I've been seeing lots of discussion of Wednesday, the new Addams Family spinoff show, saying that it's like a show from The CW. (Early reviews used this claim to dismiss the show, now people are defending it by saying "but the CW was good actually.") What I want to know is... is it?? I loved The CW because it featured complex characters (really!) and lots of emotional relationships. Wednesday looks just like another emotionless "dark" comedy to me. Does it actually have the feels??!

@charliejane only midway into Ep. 4 but there are more feels each episode. And it’s extremely CW (everyone, adults included, seem to divide the world into “normies” and “outcasts”)
