Over the years, IMO, Dropbox has gone from a terrific file sync to a so-so file sync + mediocre and unwanted filesystem + docs + misc. I'm tempted to switch entirely to GDrive. Assuming no switching cost, if you would stay on Dropbox, why? (Setting aside ecosystem diversity.)

Notes:

• I have only one machine, so I don't need between-machine sync, just cloud backup.

• Need UX for, e.g., sharing with non-techie users.

• Only one user (me) w/ no Mac + Android, no (raw) Linux.
