Getting spicy out. We’ve lost at least 10 trees so far.
@elfprince13 down here I think everything that would have fallen over in this storm already came down last week. It is pretty exciting, though.
@steve we are almost directly on ledge with very little soil, so any time someone sneezes a root system dislodges and a tree falls over.
Anyway power’s back on here already, and other than a couple hours of crazy winds this morning I’m feeling pretty underwhelmed by the “once in a generation storm” billing
@steve Our neighbor heard us running the chainsaw to clear the driveway and walked her goats over to check out the damage, but we told her we didn’t have time to chat our we’d miss our noon showing of Avatar.
@steve movie theater was packed and I’m pretty sure it was because parents didn’t want to be cooped up with their kids with no power on the first day of vacation.
