How living in NH/VT is different from most places: the social event of the week is the bunny hill on Saturday morning.

@steve not sure if you ski Nordic at all but back in the day the soup pot and box of giant cookies in the lodge at Blueberry Hill Inn (Goshen VT) was *happening* from about 11:30-1:30 on weekends

@elfprince13 we do, but if we’re going to ski Nordic, we just hit the 25km of trails right next to our house.

@steve when I was younger my family would get a season’s pass at Blueberry Hill and then basically go there 4-5 days a week (2-3 after school + all weekend), and then use the reciprocal pass agreements to do one ski at all the other nice places around, so it would pay off pretty quickly. We had a good amount of our own trails too, but mostly used those for sledding

@steve now my wife works for the Catamount Trail Association and I barely ski at all because she’s so wiped from skiing 6 days a week running their youth programs all winter
