One neat feature of email is that a single server can support addresses at different domains. So I can be on Google's email platform and have an @gmail.com email address, but I can also pay a monthly fee to have an @whateverdomainiown.com address instead.

Can Mastodon be setup to do something similar? So I could have an @mydomain user address, without having to run a full instance just for it?
