today I'm helping 3 students write PLDI responses to reviews and also making soup stock using some smoked ham bones and one of these activities is more satisfying than the other
(to be clear, I'm not complaining about my students or our reviews -- writing an author response is just sort of an inherently unsatisfying part of this process)
