in researching and writing this thing im doing on the history of why there isn't really an anarchist economics in the 20th century, one question i run into again and again is "why did all these seemingly smart people do / believe this stupid thing?"
@mutual_ayyde wait, I’m confused by your phrasing. In what context do you mean “there isn’t really an anarchist economics in the 20th century”?
@elfprince13 there were plenty of anarchist economics but no distinct anarchist economic tradition - most anarchists who did economics either cribbed classical or marxian economics (im not counting ancaps)
